In an article for IQNA, Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Mehdi Imanipour, head of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), wrote that the Israeli massacre of innocent Palestinians in Gaza quashed any pretext for reliance on the concession discourse.
He referred to the ten ideas proposed by Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi in last week’s joint meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and Arab League in Riyadh, highlighting the anger of Western and Zionist media outlets and strategists at those ideas.
He noted that the president referred to the lack of identity, indecision and uselessness as the main obstacles to the resolution of the current situation in Palestine and the Gaza Strip.
The fact is that he combination of these three factors has become a clear trend and model in the cultural, international and political equations of countries as a result of attempts by anti-resistance groups, Hojat-ol-Islam Imanipour said.
However, with the recent war on Gaza, the world nations have moved beyond the West’s official portrayal of the Palestinian crisis, he stated.
Under such circumstances, passive governments need to reach a “historical decision” on the issue of Palestine, he stressed.
The ICRO chief added that this historical decision has requirements, the most important one of which is recognition of the Palestinians’ right of return to their motherland.

One of the main reasons why most nations in the region hate the discourse of concession with the Israeli regime is that it denies this legitimate right of Palestinians, he went on to say.
Hojat-ol-Islam Imanipour added that the short-term, mid-term and long-term strategies proposed by the Iranian president for the resolution of the crisis in Gaza and Palestine signify the Islamic Republic’s efforts to change the regional players’ outlook and strategy regarding this crisis.
He stressed that the future of developments in Palestine, the region and the international arena is clear as there is no more room for relying on the discourse of concession in the Muslim world.
